Tokyo and its surrounding prefectures — the region most clients start and end their trip in, and the deepest bench of destinations on our roster.
Region Overview
Kanto is Japan's most populous region and includes the capital — most international arrivals land here via Narita or Haneda, and the rail network connecting Tokyo to the rest of the region is the best in the country.
Beyond Tokyo itself, Kanto is unusually flexible for pacing: Hakone for onsen and Mount Fuji views, Kamakura for temples and coastline, and Nikko for shrines and nature are all viable as a day trip or a one-to-two-night extension, letting almost any itinerary length work.
