Best Time to Visit
Autumn foliage (mid-to-late October, earlier than Kyoto or Tokyo due to elevation) is the strongest season. Summer offers cooler mountain temperatures than Tokyo. Winter can bring snow at higher elevations around Lake Chuzenji.
